Well, the Super Bowl is over. To me this is usually the sign that spring is on it’s way. I remember watching the game with my Dad and my brother and enjoying the camaraderie with the people in the world that were the most like me. My Dad’s gone now , but Greg and I have reconnected in the last year and we got together with our wives yesterday to watch the game and reminisce over old times, good food prepared by my brother and his wife and enjoy the Football. Now that I’m older, I realize how important family is. My wife Kathy and I are really enjoying the time we have gotten to spend with Cheryl, my brothers wife and her family, and my brother Greg. Kathy says it’s amazing how much alike Greg and I are. It surprises me when we talk and I discover the similarities in our interests and beliefs. I miss my Dad, especially his wit and charm, and I’m glad to have my brother in my life. Here’s to Greg and Cheryl and my wife Kathy for her understanding and support. Here’s to spring, I know it’s on the way. Here’s to Super Sunday’s.
We enjoyed it just as much as you….and yes getting together with family is the best thing of all. Can’t wait to do it again…….food and family is the bomb!!!! The superbowl pretty much ended the way I thought it would….I think Kathy’s shirt did it……ha ha
