Lucas Landscaping was founded in 1948 by Stanley Lucas. Stan had a love for the green industry. He helped create OLA (Ohio Landscape Association) in 1965, and you could tell upon meeting him that his work ethic was above the rest and so were his business standards. To this day, we still operate on the values that Stan set for us over 70 years ago now. Providing excellent plant material, taking care of your home as it was ours, and standing behind our work. Lucas Landscaping is now on our third generation of family members working to provide our services to Northeast Ohio.

Steve Hauck

HEAD DESIGNER
I began my career in Harrisburg Pa. way back in 1971, working as a landscape laborer, digging trees and every dirty job a landscaper can do. To this day I still say “I work with dirt”. I worked my way through school with the hope of one day becoming a landscape designer. After a lot of hard work and night classes, that dream came true. My first designer job came in 1980, in Michigan. I moved about looking for the perfect job and found it here at Lucas Landscaping in 1992, where I have been since. I work with some of the best people in the landscape business, who care about what they do and allow me to be as creative as I care to be. We make peoples dreams come true and I am proud to say “I love every minute of it”.

Dave Mushalek

GENERAL MANAGER/CONSTRUCTION GURU
If Dave can’t build it, then it can’t be done! Dave has worked at Lucas Landscaping since he was 15, and since then, he has completed thousands of beautiful jobs, his knowledge of this industry is like no others.

Son of Stanley Lucas, President of Lucas Landscaping. Pat has worked at Lucas Landscaping his whole life, taking care of customers just as if they were truly family.

Daughter of Stanley Lucas, wife of Dave Mushalek. Marcia also has worked at Lucas Landscaping her whole life, greeting our customers with a smile willingness to help answer questions when they arrive at our nursery.

Our Process

Initial Consultation:
Our designer meets with you at your home, to discuss your ideas, limitations, budget, and any existing conditions. We then conduct a site analysis, measure and take before pictures.

Concept:
We design and create a scaled color rendered drawing for presentation, with materials suggestions, photos, and proposals to fit your vision.

Implementation of Design:
Upon approval of our plans and proposals, work will be scheduled. Our designer will be involved in the installation process to assure the work is executed in a timely manner, and to clients and designers vision.

Final Thoughts:
Enjoy your new outdoor space with family, friends, and loved ones.
